Modern Slavery Statement

Version 2.0 1

This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement (this ‘Statement’) will be reviewed

and updated on an annual basis by the Executive Director. Any minor changes will be

approved internally, while significant updates will be reviewed in line with legislative

changes and industry best practices.

Voluntary Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

This Statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the ‘Act’)

and the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (Transparency in Supply Chains) Regulations 2015. This

Statement is published by LearnerBee Ltd (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘Organisation’). This is our

statement for the financial year ending 31 March 2026 and outlines the steps we have taken

and will continue to take to identify, prevent, and address modern slavery within our

operations and supply chains.

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It manifests in

various forms, including slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking, all of

which involve the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another to exploit them for personal or

commercial gain.

We oppose slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. This Statement details the

measures we have implemented and continue to develop to identify potential risks of modern

slavery within LearnerBee Ltd and our supply chains. We are committed to ensuring ethical

business practices and working only with partners who share our zero-tolerance approach to

modern slavery.

About Us

LearnerBee Ltd is an accredited training provider specialising in learner recruitment and

education solutions. We work closely with colleges, training providers, and employers to

help individuals access education and employment opportunities. As part of our commitment

to ethical business practices, we recognise our responsibility to prevent and mitigate risks

related to modern slavery within our operations and supply chains.

Our Commitment to Tackling Modern Slavery

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to ensuring

transparency within our organisation and across our supply chains. Our policies and

procedures are designed to ensure that:

• Modern slavery is identified and prevented within our business and supply chains.

• We act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

• Effective systems and controls are in place to reduce the risk of modern slavery.

• We engage with suppliers and partners to ensure they uphold the same ethical

Standards.

As part of our procurement processes, we require all suppliers and partners to comply with

our policies on anti-slavery and human trafficking and to demonstrate their commitment to

fair employment practices.

Policies and Procedures

Learnerbee Ltd has implemented the following policies relevant to modern slavery:

• Safeguarding Policy – Ensuring the protection of vulnerable individuals in our

operations.

• Whistleblowing Policy – Providing a safe mechanism for reporting concerns related

to modern slavery.

• Supplier Code of Conduct – Setting out our expectations for ethical business

practices among suppliers.

• Recruitment and Employment Policy – Ensuring fair and lawful employment

Practices.

We continuously review and update these policies to strengthen our commitment to

combatting modern slavery.

Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

To help identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our supply chains, we:

• Conduct supplier risk assessments to identify high-risk areas.

• Ensure contractual obligations with suppliers include anti-slavery provisions.

• Perform regular audits and compliance checks on key suppliers.

• Require suppliers to demonstrate compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Training and Awareness

To ensure a high level of understanding of modern slavery risks, we provide training to all

staff. This includes:

• Mandatory training for all employees to recognise and report signs of modern

slavery.

• Specialised training for employees involved in procurement and recruitment.

• Annual refresher sessions to keep modern slavery awareness at the forefront of our

operations.

Measuring Effectiveness

We use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our modern

slavery prevention efforts. These include:

• The percentage of high-risk suppliers assessed for ethical practices.

• The number of supplier audits and compliance checks completed annually.

• The number of reported concerns related to modern slavery.

• The percentage of staff trained in modern slavery awareness.

Further Steps

Following a review of our current measures, we intend to take the following additional steps

over the next 12 months:

• Enhance supplier engagement by implementing stricter anti-slavery requirements.

• Develop a Supplier Code of Conduct to ensure ethical employment practices.

• Increase training initiatives for employees and partners.

• Strengthen internal reporting mechanisms to encourage whistleblowing on

unethical practices.

Reporting Concerns

If an employee or external party suspects modern slavery or human trafficking, they should

report it immediately through the appropriate channels:

• In the UK, call 999 if someone is in immediate danger.

• Modern Slavery Helpline: 08000 121 700
