FAQs

No but it’s very likely. If you complete training, you’ll get an interview with an employer and 98% of our previous learners who completed their training have got a job within a few weeks. Our college partners are working with employers actively looking to fill live roles – all promising stuff.

Starting roles include Track Operatives, Earthing Assistants and Vegetation Management roles, with quick progression routes to Authorised Person, or Lookout, or Possession roles. There’s loads more jobs too with incredibly good salaries.

Register and complete the eligibility check. It’s a quick and easy process and takes around a minute to complete. Based on your answers, we will direct your application to the most relevant curse to you.

No, you won’t be paid until you secure a role. Most candidates fund themselves throughout the training programme through evening/weekend work, savings, family support, and Universal Credits, depending on individual circumstances.

The stuff you see is related to Network Rail staff and the public sector. Candidates go on to work in the private sector and tend to be unaffected by the strike action. The railway plays a vital role in the UK and skilled workers are always needed.

If you’re eligible it’s completely free of charge. Zilch! The training is worth a few thousand pounds for the skills based and the safety learning combined. It might not always be free – so we recommend taking advantage of it asap.

No, that’s not an available option right now.

You have to be 19+ to apply for the Level 3 course and 24+ to apply for the level 2 course (no upper age limit)

If you’re eligible and secure a spot at the Information Session, you’ll get the option to book your preferred time slot.

We can’t promise that there’ll be future courses in your area. Keep checking our Facebook page for updates, and feel free to email hello@learnerbee.co.uk and ask to be put on a waiting list. We’ll gladly put you on there.
